Sharwood's expands its portfolio with flavour-led innovation
Sharwood’s is continuing to expand its 2-step kits portfolio with the launch of its Green Tikka Curry Kit. Following the recent arrival of Sharwood’s Moilee Coconut Curry Kit and Hot Honey & Lime Crackers in June 2026, the raft of new additions offers retailers the opportunity to attract younger consumers into the category by tapping into growing consumer demand for exciting formats beyond traditional jar sauces[1].
Sharwood’s Green Tikka Curry Kit brings a lively and herbaceous flavour to the Indian meal kits fixture, inspired by dishes popularised by modern Indian restaurants. This will sit alongside Sharwood’s Moilee Coconut Curry Kit, ideal for those who prefer a light and creamy coastal curry flavour. Both kits have been developed to bridge the gap between jars and kits, offering less confident cooks a simple two-step format that makes it easier to recreate Indian-inspired meals at home.
Joining the flavoured crackers range, Sharwood’s new Hot Honey & Lime Crackers taps into the popular sweet-and-spicy flavour combination, bringing an on-trend flavour to a familiar snacking format. Designed to trade shoppers up from own label and attract younger shoppers into ESEA-inspired snacking.
Rob Watson, Brand Director of Global Cuisines at Premier Foods commented:
“Sharwood’s is continuing to modernise its offer with flavour-led innovation that helps retailers bring more shoppers into the category. With Indian cuisine eaten on 1.1 billion occasions [2] and kits growing 3% in unit sales year on year[3], our Green Tikka and Moilee Coconut Curry Kits will support retailers in bringing newer flavours into an accessible format. Meanwhile our Hot Honey & Lime Crackers offer another route for retailers to drive excitement and purchase intent in flavoured crackers amongst younger consumers.”
