Bisto and Paxo serve up new range of festive meal must haves

Helping shoppers to elevate their Christmas table offerings

Premier Foods is helping shoppers elevate their Christmas table offerings this year with two new limited-edition launches set to land on shelves in time for the festive season: Bisto Signature Ready-to-Use Beef and Chicken Gravies, and Paxo Orange & Cranberry Stuffing Wreath Kits. It is also adding a new Paxo Quick Cook Stuffing Sage & Onion, which will be available year-round. The new launches are set to inspire shoppers by encouraging them to trade-up and increase basket spend during the key seasonal window, which saw record-breaking spending in 2024[1], and beyond.

Ready-To-Use (RTU) gravy continues to grow in popularity, now worth £6 million in value and growing 7.7% year-on-year – the fastest-growing format in the category[2]. The new Bisto Signature RTU Beef and Chicken Gravies offer shoppers must-stock flavours in a popular and convenient format, combined with the trusted quality of the Bisto brand. The recipes have been created by chefs to deliver a deeper, richer flavour that is ready in minutes, helping home cooks to elevate their Christmas roasts with less hassle.

Paxo has unveiled a new way for shoppers to create their own seasonal showstoppers for their Christmas dinner tables with the launch of its Orange & Cranberry Stuffing Wreath Kit. The Orange & Cranberry Stuffing is made with carefully selected ingredients to deliver a distinctly seasonal taste, and comes with a foil wreath tray that gives shoppers the chance to get creative by crafting their very own stuffing-based spectacle.

In addition to the new launches rolling out this September, Bisto and Paxo are also returning with their seasonal must-have line-up that resonates with consumers year upon year[3].

Additionally, Paxo is looking to help retailers tap into the opportunity to drive stuffing sales all year round with a new permanent addition to its range, Paxo Quick Cook Stuffing Sage & Onion. Stuffing is a festive favourite but nearly 50% of all stuffing consumers only buy it once a year, due to the time and effort required to cook it[4]. To overcome this, Paxo’s new Quick Cook Stuffing cooks in 13-18 minutes in either the air fryer or oven, creating a more convenient way for shoppers to enjoy the great taste of Paxo’s Sage & Onion stuffing, while offering a crispier texture.
