New Ambrosia TV Campaign Brings to Life 'A Taste of Happy'

Premier Foods is launching a brand new advertising campaign to support its new launch, Ambrosia Deluxe Custard, one of the newest additions to the Ambrosia family of delicious dairy products from Devon

The £3.2m campaign, “A Taste of Happy”, will be delivered in two parts this year and cleverly demonstrates the happiness you feel when you have a little taste of something you love, like Ambrosia custard

Leading dessert brand , Ambrosia, is determined to brighten people’s days with a new advertising campaign that will hit TV screens at the end of this week. The first part of the £3.2m campaign - “A Taste of Happy” - will feature an iconic soundtrack, with the focus firmly on its latest addition to the range - premium ambient custard, Ambrosia Deluxe.

The first instalment of the campaign features a cover by the Hackney Colliery Band of the classic 80s hit, “Give it up” by KC and the Sunshine Band, bringing back the catchy tune. The 30-second spot sees the band play happiness into every pot of Ambrosia Deluxe, then when opened at home by the family – it unleashes ‘the happy’, brightening their day and bringing back the catchy tune.

“Ambrosia is a much loved brand with a strong Devon heritage and has long been a special treat that brightens people’s days. The “Taste of Happy” campaign is based on the idea that when you have a little taste of something you love, like Ambrosia custard, you feel happier,” said Grace Liljemark, Brand Director, Desserts and Baking at Premier Foods.

“Ambrosia Deluxe, which is the hero product in the ad, launched earlier this year. We are seeing very encouraging initial results. The advert will bring this new addition to our range front and centre of people’s minds, encouraging them to try its luxurious, velvety, creamy taste.”

The TV campaign will return later this year to promote both Ambrosia Deluxe and new Ambrosia Frozen Custard ice cream.
