Premier Foods is recalling  a specific batch of Loyd Grossman 350g Korma sauce as a precautionary measure following an isolated incidence of botulism linked to one jar of this product.

These packs can be identified by the coding detail printed on the neck of the jar as set out below:

In agreement with the Food Standards Agency, the company is recalling this specific batch of Korma sauce from consumers and is working urgently with the authorities to investigate this incident.  Any consumer with a jar carrying these codes should avoid eating the product and should contact the Loyd Grossman consumer hotline on 0800 3898548 to arrange for a full refund.
Only 350g jars of this product, with batch code 1218R are affected by this recall notice.

No other Loyd Grossman Sauces or products are involved .
