Our employees are Best in British

We've just annouced our winners for our Employee Recognition Awards, which has been our most successful internal recognition scheme yet!

Our Best in British Food Awards employee recognition initiative this year has proved a great success, bringing in 283 nominations; a new company record! Our employee judging panel, made up of a selection of volunteers from around our business, met up a couple of weeks ago in October to read and assess all the nominations and then come up with a shortlist of three per Award, which went to our Group Exec for final decision last week. After some tough debating, the winners and short listed candidates were communicated to this week, and a special presentation lunch with our CEO Gavin Darby was held to recognise our winners and present them with their certificates and trophies. We're currently in the process of making a video all about their achievements, as well as a special feature in the next issue of Being Premier magazine, to help communiate their stories and their successes to the business. Well done to Kieran Given from Belfast - our Extra Mile Award Winner, Grahame Dudley from Carlton - our Reducing Complexity Winner, the Avonmouth Transport Team for getting the Sustainable Working Award, the Devon Dream Team for winning Building our Brands and the Project Foster Team for achieving the Partnering with Customers Award.
