Mealtime inspiration for consumers

We’ve worked with our customer Sainsbury's to introduce a Premier Foods Recipe Hub within their popular consumer website. The aim is to inspire shoppers to buy and cook with our brands to create delicious meals for any occasion.

The Recipe Hub shares a selection of tasty recipes created by our Chefs, featuring some of our much loved brands including OXO, Ambrosia and Sharwood’s. The recipes - which include mouth watering 'cauliflower, roasted coconut and lentil madras' and warming 'beef and vegetable stew with sweet potato rosti topping', have been designed around four popular recipe trends - light, quick and tasty meals; family meals; dining for two; and lunchtime inspiration.

Excited by the opportunity this initiative gives us to drive growth of our brands, Justine Kinsella, Sainsbury's Customer Marketing Manager comments: “We identified a growing demand among Sainsbury's shoppers for recipe driven content on their website. Like us they’re committed to providing consumers with meal inspiration and an easier shopping experience. The hub enables shoppers to quickly add products directly to their online shopping basket or to a digital shopping list. This partnership is a natural fit which we hope will prove mutually beneficial in driving growth of our brands and the categories in which they sit.”

What's next...
We’ll shortly be introducing two new recipe collections to the hub that tap into popular search trends. Look out for ‘Desserts & Baking’ and ‘Easter Inspiration’!
