Our sites mark World Mental Health Day

Last week to mark World Mental Health Day, our sites hosted a range of activities to raise vital funds for our corporate charity partner Mind.

The money we raise across our two year partnership helps them provide support and training for those suffering with mental health issues.

Colleagues showed their support by wearing blue or purple for the day and here's what else our sites got up to:

In Worksop our Champs hosted a raffle to raise £454

In Ashford, Lifton and Rugby our Champs hosted cake sales to raise over £300 and in St Albans colleagues took part in a health walk at lunch time.

Moreton hosted a week long initiative with games and quizzes in the canteen to raise over £200.

Stoke and Carlton backed the purple and blue theme by encouraging colleagues to purchase purple hair nets for the day, with our Stoke colleagues raising over £300 and Carlton colleagues raising over £700.

Well done to everyone involved and to our Charity Champions for aiming high to organise all the initiatives.
