New Indulgent tarts from Mr Kipling

With indulgent products experiencing significant growth in the cake category, we’re tapping into this key trend with the introduction of our new Mr Kipling luxury fruit tarts. 

Produced by colleagues in our Stoke factory, the new luxury tarts come in two delicious flavours ‘Lemon & White Chocolate’ and ‘Raspberry & White Chocolate’ and both feature a premium ganache filling encased in a delicate straight edge pastry before being individually hand decorated by our dedicated colleagues. 

Paul Baker, Technical Manager at Stoke, "The new Mr Kipling Tarts are revolutionary for the Stoke site. It is the first time the site has produced straight edged pastry tarts and used white chocolate ganache in their recipes. The technical recipe workstream has been led by Karen Totton, Head of R&D and the site are delighted with the end result." 

The new tarts form part of our ‘Delectable delights’ premium range from Mr Kipling and will be available from May in Morrisons and Asda before rolling out to other retailers later in the year. 

Karmel Maletta, Innovation Controller: "We were excited by the idea of developing a truly indulgent range for Mr Kipling as this is a new direction for the brand. The tarts are the first of our delectable delights range to hit shelves with chocolate bites hitting stores in September."
