How We're Organised


At Premier Foods we’re driven by our purpose to create food the nation loves most for modern life. Around 4,000 colleagues bring our purpose to life through our treasured, iconic brands. We work to the highest quality and safety standards, partnering with our suppliers and customers to make sure we deliver what our consumers want.

Our head office is in St Albans, and we have numerous sites and offices around the UK.

Our central functions – that is Corporate Affairs, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems & Change, Legal & Company Secretary, and Procurement – are all based from St Albans. In addition, we also have a financial shared service centre in Manchester, and an ISC office in Southampton. And our food technology colleagues have a base in High Wycombe, at our technical centre.

We have two Strategic Business Units (SBUs) – UK and International - based at our St Albans Head Office. This is where the Sales, Marketing and Finance teams for the business units live. However there are hundreds of colleagues based at our manufacturing sites in Worksop, Ashford, Lifton, Andover, Charnwood, Carlton, Stoke and Moreton making great food.

Our International SBU sells our brands around the world, helping fulfil demand for our high quality food with a meaningful heritage. Constituting just over 5% of our total business, this is an exciting area of growth for us.
