Batchelors has a long history of making simply delicious meals for all the family.

For more than 100 years, the Batchelors brand has been helping families to stay fuelled with quick, easy and delicious meals.

Throughout its history the Batchelors brand has been known for leading the way in packaging and product innovation. The portfolio includes Supernoodles, Cup a Soup, Pasta ‘n’ Sauce, Savoury Rice, Cup a Pasta, Pot Shots, and its newest product launch, Deli Box. The brand enjoys market leadership in most of the areas it operates in, as well as being market leader in the ‘Easy Eating’ category overall.

William Batchelor, a former tea salesman, began the company in 1895, selling packets of peas. He soon adopted breakthrough canning technology, supplying soup and vegetables to busy British homes. In a short space of time, Batchelors became one of the most successful canning companies in the UK. And later, under the drive and ambition of William's daughter, Ella, it became a household name.

In 1949 Batchelors began making dried soups, which became “Cup a Soup” in 1972. Today, over 200 million mugs of its famous Cup a Soup products are consumed each year. The brand has since expanded to also offer a wide selection of tasty and convenient savoury snacks like Super Noodles, Pasta n Sauce, and Savoury Rice, among others.

In 2012, the Batchelors brand continues to innovate, and has recently launched its new range of ‘Deli Boxes’ – a tasty and satisfying light lunch that can be enjoyed in a moment, whether you are at home or at work. Flavours include: Chicken Noodles, Mild Curry Noodles, BBQ Beef Noodles, Chow Mein Noodles, Chicken & Mushroom Pasta, and Cheese & Broccoli Pasta.

We have also been busy ‘Fuelling Britain’ in 2012; helping busy mums not only keep their families fuelled with delicious products, but now their cars too, with a fantastic free fuel giveaway.
