Premier Foods wins top European Manufacturing Award
Premier Foods, home to some of Britain’s best loved brands, has been awarded the highly acclaimed Green and Sustainable Manufacturing Award for demonstrating significant reductions in energy, water, waste and overall carbon footprint.
The accolade was presented to the Company as part of the of the European Manufacturing Strategies Summit¹ which is one of Europe’s leading events for the manufacturing industry and promotes both learning about and applying manufacturing best practice and solutions to boost overall production excellence.
Premier Foods met demanding qualifying criteria and unparalled performance in environmental manufacturing to be shortlisted for the Award. This included maximising energy efficiency levels, addressing water use and treatment, compliance with environmental regulations and minimising waste from their production process.
