Sharwood's is re-launching its entire ethnic range, which consists of Indian, South East Asian and Chinese varieties. With the growth of ethnic food rising 17 per cent in five years alone, ethnic menus in pubs and hotels continue to offer caterers a great opportunity to increase profits. By improving packaging and recipes, as well as introducing new sauces and accompaniments, Sharwood's offers caterers innovative and high quality, full menu solutions.
All sauces in the range can now be purchased in more convenient 2kg bottles and have been completely redesigned to offer enhanced product quality. In addition, Sharwood's has strengthened its Indian offering by improving its Korma, Tikka Masala and Lighter Tikka Masala sauce recipes. No artificial colours, flavourings or preservatives are used and all make ideal bases for soups, dips and dressings. Indian accompaniments available from Sharwood's include Puppodums, Pickle and Chutney.
Extending the South East Asian range are two new sauces, Malaysian Rendang and Yellow Curry, as well as two improved recipes, Thai Red Curry and Thai Green Curry. All are simple to use on their own or as a base to create more complex dishes. Complementing this and the Sharwood's Chinese range too are the delicious new accompaniments of Authentic Rice Noodles and Thai Crackers.
The Chinese range includes Sweet and Sour, Black Bean, Chow Mein and Chinese Mushroom and Honey and Ginger sauces. All available in 2 x 2kg packs, whilst Chinese accompaniments include Prawn Crackers and Egg Noodles.
