A sixth variant has been added to the Batchelors Soupfulls range. The new Harvest Vegetable flavour has a high vegetable content, containing wholesome chunks of seven different vegetables.
Batchelors launched Soupfulls at the end of 2007, as a response to growing consumer demand for chunky soups. In addition to the new Harvest Vegetable variant, the range also includes Classic Beef and Vegetable, Chicken and Country Vegetable, Tuscan Tomato and Pasta, Creamy Chicken Potato and Mushroom, and Mediterranean Tomato and Vegetable.
Soup sales are enjoying strong value and volume growth on the back of poor summer weather. Ambient and chilled soup sales are driving the gains with a focus on healthier and heartier soups.
Lorne Gray, Senior Brand Manager for Batchelors, said, “Soupfulls is perfect as a meal or snack, and popular with consumers of all ages and backgrounds. The range meets consumer trends for convenience, health and quality. Soupfulls is both filling and satisfying, and this new variant is being released in response to high consumer demand.”
Further to this launch, all Campbells soups have now completed the process of being rebranded as Batchelors. The change has been phased in over a number of months, and does not affect the actual products.
