Mr Kipling unveils Elizabeth Sponge Cake and Slices to celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday

They will replace iconic Victoria Sponge and Slices from 2nd June and will be exclusive to Asda

The iconic French Fancies will also be renamed for a few weeks as British Fancies in honour of the birthday celebrations

The number one cake brand in the UK is renaming some of its classic cakes during the month of June in Asda in honour of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The following products will be available in Asda from June 2-22nd: 
  • The Elizabeth Sponge (was Victoria Sponge) £1.50
  • The Elizabeth Sponge Slices (was Victoria Sponge Slices) £1.00
  • British Fancies (was French Fancies) £1.00
