Mr Kipling gets tropical with new Flamingo Slices

​Premier Foods is getting ready for summer with the launch of limited edition Mr Kipling Flamingo Slices, helping retailers tap into this emerging consumer trend for the fabulous flamingo.

Rolling out from the 2nd July, the new cakes are hot on the heels of the sought after Mr Kipling Unicorn Slices, which have delivered over £1.2m in sales since hitting shelves in February. 

With a tasty tropical sponge and brightly coloured icing, the new Flamingo Slices will drive excitement in the cake category and are the perfect picnic or summer party accompaniment.

With everything from pool floats to tableware, flamingos are the fashionable accessory this summer and we’re already seeing a buzz on social media. Mr Kipling Flamingo Slices will be available in handy snack-packs of six cakes for 18 weeks, with an MRSP of £1.00. The launch will be supported in-store and with digital activity.
