Healthcare campaign shortlisted at FDF Awards

We are delighted to announce that our Foodservice Dysphagia Chef of the Year competition has been shortlisted for the Campaign of the Year category at this year’s FDF Awards.

The initiative saw care caterers develop recipes suitable for a dysphagia sufferer and five finalists competed in a cook-off in front of a live audience. Supported by industry experts who judged the competition – Andy Jones, Chair of PS100; Carol Harwood, former training and standards manager at Hertfordshire Catering Ltd; and Preston Walker, our dysphagia catering specialist – Malcolm Shipton of Wren Hall Nursing Home was crowned our winner. 

Sarah Robb, Foodservice Channel Marketing Manager, comments: “Our Dysphagia Chef of the Year campaign aimed to celebrate the skill and creativity in the healthcare industry; in addition to highlighting our Healthcare Solutions Programme and the suitability of our product range in this sector. To have the initiative recognised by the Food & Drink Federation is an honour and we are very proud to have been shortlisted.
