‘Snapping Up’ Easter sales
Branded cakes dominate sales at Easter, with Premier Foods now boasting 9 out of 10 top selling SKUs . With a 77% share of Easter cake sales in 2011, the Premier Food’s seasonal range is a must stock.
Premier Foods is set to sweeten cake sales for retailers with Easter family favourites - Mr Kipling Simnel Slices and St Clements Slices, now being made available in the convenient snap pack format. This year’s range will also include the re-appearance of traditional Easter favourites from the Cadbury cake range, which was the main driver of Easter growth last year (+35%) , with best sellers like Cadbury Cake Nests and Cadbury Mini Eggs Cakes.
