Lyons has been baking cakes for over 100 years and is still as popular as ever.
Lyons has been baking cakes for over 100 years and is still as popular as ever. In this very British year of years, we have given Lyons a facelift with some fresh packaging and two new products in its range - Strawberry and Toffee cup cakes.
Lyons fantastically rich heritage was inspirational in helping us come up with an up-to-date feel to the packaging. We have even re-instated its royal warrant and added in the iconic 'Nippy Maid', who was a feature of Lyons Corner House tearooms.
Lyons opened its first teashop in Piccadilly in 1894 and has a rich British history, and the trade certainly seem to agree with the new look Lyons range receiving very positive feedback. For sale in selected in Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Tesco, the cupcakes are now retailing for £1, so grab a bargain while you can!
