Homepride gets a healthier edition for Kids

Homepride have just launched their new Kids range and are hoping to appeal to families with a tasty range of sauces which contain no added sugar, salt or preservatives, and are free from artificial colours and flavours.

Rolling out in-store now Homepride’s new range is helping to drive sales, providing a healthy solution for kids that both parents and children are happy with. The range includes: Classic Bolognese and Cheesy Tomato, Chinese Sweet & Sour and Tomato & Mediterranean Vegetables all designed to offer a convenient meal option for busy parents.

Jahangir Khan, Brand Manager Homepride, tells us more about the idea behind the kids range: “With the kids tea time occasion worth £11m, the Homepride Kids range will help attract new shoppers to the category by appealing to those families with children aged between 4-7 years old.

“Research has shown that parents welcome the idea of Homepride introducing a range of cooking sauces specifically designed for children as the brand is already closely associated with family meal times.

“It is a tailored solution, which in turn will help drive category growth as consumers are willing to pay more. The new range will also raise the profile of cooking sauces as a viable part of a balanced meal.”

The new pouches are available in Morrisons now before rolling out to the rest of the trade in July and August.
