Corporate Charity fundraising scales new heights

Throughout 2012, we have been focusing on a British theme for our employee fund-raising events to help our corporate charity Help for Heroes to raise money for this great cause.

Throughout 2012, we have been focusing on a British theme for our employee fund-raising events  this summer to help our corporate charity Help for Heroes  to raise money for this great cause. Our employees joined forces on a large scale to undertake various challenges across the four corners of the British Isles, to raise money towards our two year target that we have committed to achieve for Help for Heroes by the end of 2012. Activities included a series of delicious Jubilee BBQ events, staff (including our CEO and Group Exec) tackling the 3 and 5 Peaks Challenge, as well as our very own 1 Peak Challenge to the summit of Mount Snowdon. Employees also climbed the Peaks of the Welsh 3000, cycled around Tidworth, Catterick and Colchester as part of the Rides to Recovery series, ran in local marathons and even trekked 26 miles along Hadrian&##39;s Wall to help raise vital funds for Help for Heroes. Our efforts were supported by the following suppliers, who are proud to support the Great British Challenge, so special thanks goes to Menz and Gasser, AB Mauri UK & Ireland (formerly Cereform Ltd) CSM, Unitom, Agri-pharm LLC and BMW Group. We would like to thank all these companies for their ongoing support as we continue to strive to meet our target in the second half of 2012.
