BBC’s ‘The One Show’ celebrates 50 years of Angel Delight...

Smooth, sweet and creamy… it’s no wonder our Angel Delight dessert has amassed such a loyal fan base over its 50 year history since launching in 1967.

Screen-Shot-2017-03-13-at-13-21-58.pngTo celebrate the brand’s 50th birthday, BBC’s ‘The One Show’ sent self-confessed fan and Michelin Star Chef Tony Singh along to our Lifton Creamery to discover the history of the brand, some of it’s more unusual flavours and how we’ve innovated to meet the needs of the 21st century consumer - including with the launch of our brand new Angel Delight ready to eat pots!

During his visit he met with our very own Head of Research and Development for Desserts, Tony Symons, and gave traditional Scottish dessert Cranachan a delightful twist by substituting cream with our Strawberry flavour Angel Delight. Armed with samples, he took to the streets of Launceston to get the verdict of the great British public... needless to say it was empty bowls all round!

Celebrating our new ready to eat pots!
Since the feature aired last week, our brand new Angel Delight ready to eat pots have caught the eye of the press and gained positive coverage in industry publication The Grocer, and national newspapers The Express and The Mirror.

Available in four scrummy flavours, the range is available now in all major retailers. Discover more here.
