- Q. I have just changed my address, who needs to know?
- A. When you change address it is important you inform the Registrar as soon as possible to ensure you receive all shareholder communications. You can do this by downloading the relevant form from the Registrars' website. Alternatively you can send a letter to the Registrar, which should include the following:
- • your name in full (as shown on your share certificate(s))
- • your previous address
- • your new address
- • your shareholder account number
- NB: all correspondence must be signed and for security reasons, the Registrar cannot accept address changes over the telephone or by e-mail.
- Q. I have recently changed my name, what should I do?
- A. Please write to the Registrar giving full details of the following:
- • your old name
- • your new name
- • a copy of any legal documentation, e.g. marriage certificate/Deed Poll/other supporting documentation.
- Q. How do I register the death of a shareholder?
- A. You should contact the Registrar as soon as possible. A temporary marker will be placed on the holding to retain any dividends until probate has been registered. The Registrar will send you a letter which explains what is required from the executor or administrator of the Estate.
- Q. How can I transfer shares to someone I know (e.g. spouse)?
- A. In most cases you can transfer shares to someone you know by completing a stock transfer form rather than using a stockbroker. Further details and a copy of the relevant form can be obtained from the Registrars' website.
- Q. What do I do if I receive multiple mailings from the Company?
- A. If you receive more than one copy of shareholder communications it is likely that more than one shareholder account has been opened in your name. If you would like to amalgamate your accounts please contact the Registrar.
- Q. How do I check my shareholding details?
- A. To check your shareholding details please contact the Registrar.
- Q. How can I check today's share price?
- A. The current Premier Foods share price is available on the Share Price Data page on this website.
- Q. Where do I get hold of the original price I paid for my shares?
- A. Your contract note which was provided by the broker when purchasing the shares will have this information. You can also check the historic prices using the Historic Share Price Download tool on this website.
- Q. I have a question about the tax on my shares and/or dividends - who do I speak to?
- A. The Company is not able to provide advice on taxation matters you should therefore contact your financial adviser.

- Frequently Asked Questions
- Q. Why should I change to electronic communications?
- A. Communicating with you via our website will not only reduce our impact on the environment and minimise waste but it will also enable us to deliver relevant information to you in a timely, convenient and more cost effective form. You can also access a whole host of additional information about your Company on our website, such as the share price, financial results, presentations and up to date news. If you elect for shareholder communications on the internet, you will be able to access them on the day of publication rather than having to wait for them to arrive by post.
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Q. How do I opt to receive future Company communications electronically?
- A. If you would like to receive future Company communications electronically you can arrange this by logging on to www.shareview.co.uk selecting “Register for Portfolio” and filling in your details. You will then be registered automatically to receive an e-mail notification whenever the Company mails information to shareholders.
- If you are already registered with Shareview but have not yet registered for electronic communications, please log on to Shareview using your existing User ID and Password and ensure that your mailing preference is shown as "e-mail". If it is not, you can update your preference by clicking on "Change preferences” once you are logged in. Once you have registered, you will need to ensure that you inform Equiniti of any changes of e-mail address. Please note that e-mail addresses registered for electronic communications purposes are kept confidential and will not be made publicly available or used by the Company for any purpose other than communicating with you as a shareholder. There is no charge for this service.
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Q. What happens if I opt for electronic communication?
- A. Whenever the Company has a shareholder mailing, you will receive an e-mail with a link to the website where electronic copies of the document can be viewed or downloaded. The documents themselves will not be sent with the e-mail. You will no longer receive a copy of that document by post.
- You should be aware that the Company's legal obligations to you in respect of the delivery of information will be satisfied when the Registrar on behalf of the Company transmits an e-mail to you at the address you have provided, whether or not it is delivered. Nevertheless, where the Registrar is aware of any failure in delivery of an electronic message, a notification will be posted to your last known address informing you that the attempt to communicate with you electronically has failed and advising you of the website address where the document can be found.
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Q. Are email communications secure?
- A. You should note that e-mail communications are not necessarily secure and there is always a risk that e-mail messages may be lost, intercepted or tampered with. In agreeing that the Company and its Registrar may communicate with you electronically, you agree that neither the Company nor the Registrar will be under any liability for any losses that may arise as a result of any such loss, interception or tampering or other factors beyond their control. You should check documents and attachments for viruses and defects before opening and using them. The liability of the Company and its Registrar in this respect is limited to re-delivering the affected documents.
