Premier Foods plc (“Premier”) announces that it has reached an agreement in principal to sell Jonker Fris B.V. and Premier Foods B.V. (together “Jonker Fris”) to NPM Capital B.V., a Dutch private equity firm.Completion is expected to take place before the end of the year and is subject to clearance from regulatory authorities.
Jonker Fris, based in The Netherlands, manufactures and sells canned vegetables and fruit principally for private label customers in The Netherlands and Germany.The book value of the gross assets of the companies being sold was £17.3 million at 2 July 2005.
