Our Approach

Premier Foods recognises the value of good corporate governance not only in the areas of accountability and risk management but also as a positive contributor to business prosperity. We believe in conducting our affairs in a fair and transparent manner and in maintaining the highest ethical standards in our business dealings.

As the largest food producer in the UK, we are committed to managing our business in a socially responsible manner. We believe strongly that to grow and be profitable we must work actively to develop sustainable relationships with our various stakeholders, comprising shareholders, employees, suppliers, customers, consumers and the wider communities in which we operate.

We continually develop our corporate social responsibility strategy within the following key areas:

• Human resources.

Our performance in these areas is reviewed by our Operations Board who are collectively responsible for ensuring that Premier Foods continues to operate in a responsible manner. Chief Executive, Robert Schofield, takes the leading role in ensuring that our approach supports the strategic direction of the Company.
