Love Food Hate Waste

All through March, Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) are promoting their ‘Love Food Hate Waste’ campaign to help consumers understand how they can help to reduce the 7 million tonnes of food and drink thrown away every year from UK households.

Love Food Hate Waste aims to raise awareness of the need to reduce food waste and help us take action. It shows that by doing some easy practical everyday things in the home we can all waste less food, which will ultimately benefit our purses and the environment too.

We're encouraging colleagues to visit their website which is packed full of handy recipes, fun facts and interesting ways to keep your food fresh including ways to make sure you buy only what you need. Doing our bit, no matter how small this might seem, could save each of us up to £60 a month.
