About us

Our supply chain

We’re proud of our Supply Chain. Our colleagues at our eight manufacturing sites and three distribution centres (two of which are run by trusted partners) work tirelessly to produce and deliver the best quality products in a safe and environmentally sustainable way at the most efficient cost.

Quality, authenticity & responsibility

Around 96% of everything we sell is produced in the UK using ingredients, raw materials and services mainly from UK suppliers. This helps us keep our supply chains short and standards high. It brings quality we can trust supported by a rigorous system of controls and auditing.

The safety and authenticity of our products and ingredients is reinforced by our leading food testing centre, Premier Analytical Services (PAS), where our food experts carry out 80,000 individual tests on ingredients and finished products every year.

We invest in state of the art technology and systems to enable us to deliver year on year improvements in our efficiency. This drives savings we can re-invest in our brands while also helping reduce our environmental footprint.

Our great people

Our people are at the heart of our business and their health, safety and wellbeing is a priority. We have a strong track record of health and safety improvement with one of the lowest reportable accident rates in the UK.

We invest in developing the skills that are important to our future. We’re taking on more apprentices in food engineering and hiring young food scientists to help increase our rate of new product innovation. And we lend our support and expertise to industry programmes that contribute to a more competitive supply chain.
