Food Scientist Award - Gordon Wiseman 
Senior Research Associate and Head of the Premier Foods Molecular Diagnostic team, Gordon Wiseman walked away with the Food Scientist Award. Gordon was recognised for his incredible knowledge base and strong scientific discipline.

Campaign of the year Award - Bisto Spare Chair Sunday
Bisto saw the opportunity to make a difference to elderly people's lives by creating the 'Spare Chair Sunday' campaign with Contact the Elderly, a charity that organises volunteer-led monthly Sunday afternoon tea parties for older people living alone across Great Britain.

Chartered Secretaries & Administrators Awards
Best Annual Report - Premier Foods
We won ‘Best Annual Report’ in the FTSE Small Cap & AIM category at the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators Awards. Our annual report is shared with our financial stakeholders including our shareholders and analyst community, following the close of our financial year and you can read it on our website.

Food Manufacture Excellence Awards
Bakery manufacturing company of the year - Premier Foods
As part of the ‘life is better with cake’ campaign, an edible poster won our Mr Kipling team  the coveted ‘Bakery manufacturing company of the year’ at the Food Manufacture Excellence Awards (FMEAs). The award was distinguished by a £20M investment last year in the new Mr Kipling snack pack cake slice production line at the Carlton factory. The annual Food Manufacture Excellence Awards, now in their 15th year, have become the premier event in the food and drink manufacturing calendar.

Waitrose Supplier Collaboration Awards
Waitrose Supplier of the Year - Premier Foods
We were awarded ‘Waitrose Supplier of the Year’ award at their annual supplier conference attended by all 400 Waitrose suppliers. It recognises both our outstanding contribution to their business strategy and our enormous efforts to build a strong and collaborative partnership with Waitrose.
In addition, we were commended for ‘Championing British’, an accolade that recognises our achievement in placing 88% of our procurement spend in 2015 with British farmers and suppliers.

Sainsbury’s customers made us their favourites in no less than four categories at the annual Sainsbury’s Magazine Food & Drink Awards. Over 114,000 Sainsbury’s customers voted for the food that their family loves to have at home.

ASDA Bakery Awards
Most Innovative Product Launch of 2015 - Cadbury Amaze Bites
Amaze Bites won ASDA's coveted award for 'Most Innovative Product Launch of 2015'. Amaze Bites were originally conceived by colleagues at our Moreton Cadbury manufacturing site. Amaze Bites take Cadbury into the the ‘nibbles and bites’ cake subcategory for the first time.

Food and Drinks Federation Awards
Rising Star - Louise Eaton
The 2015 awards, hosted at The Brewery, London attracted entries from across the food and drink supply chain, from growers and producers to manufacturers and the leading retailers. Louise Eaton, Product Development Technologist at our Worksop site, was awarded the coveted Rising Star award. Louise first joined Premier on our Graduate programme in 2010.

We were shortlisted twice at the Food and Drinks Federation awards for our Bisto Together Project and our Mr.Kipling Life is Better with Cake campaign. We were also shortlisted for our two year partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support during which we raised over £320,000.

Point of Purchase Advertising International (POPAI) Awards
Gold Award – Best Temporary F&D Display Award
Silver Award – Best Overall Temporary Display of the Year Award
We received two awards for Oxo Shake n Flavour: a Gold Award for Best Temporary Food and Drink Display and a Silver Award for Best Overall Temporary Display of the Year. The awards programme celebrates the ‘best in best’ in retail display creativity, manufacturing and in-store implementation.

Foodservice Supplier of the Year - Premier Foodservice
Our Foodservice team won Foodservice Supplier of the Year for the second year in a row and Premier Foods won Grocery Supplier of the Year. The awards are run annually by the Today Group, the UK’s largest independent buying group with buying power exceeding £5.7bn, encompassing the largest network of independent cash & carry wholesalers and delivered wholesalers in the UK.

Sustainability
This achievement recognises the work of our Foodservice team to help elderly people in the UK suffering from dementia and dysphagia enjoy safe, appetising meals. Our Foodservice team develop a catering guide with diet plans and recipes for carers of people suffering from dysphagia, a condition affecting the ability to swallow.

2014 Awards

The Grocer Gold Award
Logistics Supplier of the Year - Premier Foods
Working in partnership with our logistics partner Jigsaw, we were awarded the Logistics Supplier of the Year award at the prestigious Grocer Gold Awards. The award recognised how we had worked with Jigsaw to remove cost and improve the efficiency and sustainability of our transport operations. By the end of 2014 our joint efforts had helped remove 750,000 road miles, the equivalent of 795 tonnes of C02 emissions

Food and Drink Federation Awards
Scientist of the Year - Andy Walker
Andy from our Premier Analytical Services laboratory in High Wycombe walked away with the Scientist of the Year award at the FDF awards. Andy was recognised for his significant contribution to industrial microbiology, and his work to assist customers and stakeholders throughout the supply chain.
Community Champion - Alice Cavanagh
Factory operative, Alice Cavanagh, from our Moreton site in the Wirral was named Community Champion for her tremendous efforts in supporting our corporate charity Macmillan, and her 20 years supporting her local community. Alice’s hard work was further recognised in 2015 when she was invited to 10 Downing Street to meet Samantha Cameron to celebrate the factory’s support for Comic Relief over the past 26 years.

Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Awards
Supply Management - Premier Foods
A Procurement-led team from Premier Foods was awarded the Supply Management Award for best cross functional teamwork, beating off competition from 11 other companies including Jaguar Land Rover, BAE systems and Britvic. The cross-functional team successfully re-imagined the entire shipper process, resulting in significant savings in packaging, logistics and co-packing costs, as well as commercial and supply chain improvements. Tesco referred to our shipper processes as 'what good looks like' and used us as an example to showcase good practice.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA)
Our commitment to continuous improvement in health and safety performance has been consistently recognised by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) and others. In 2014, building on the success of previous years, our manufacturing sites achieved 6 Gold and 2 Silver RoSPA Awards. A further 3 sites were awarded the prestigious Gold Medal Award for achieving the Gold Medal standard for 5 or more consecutive years.
