Our customers are primarily UK food retailers such as well-known major retailers and smaller convenience stores.

How we work with our customers is a key focus for us in stabilising our business.

   
We have a broad customer base spanning the major multiple retailers, discounters, the wholesale sector, impulse retail and a small, but growing, international business.  We also supply the food service and food manufacturing markets in the UK.

In Ireland, we distribute our Power Brands and in export markets, we sell our Power Brands as well as a range of branded goods.


Our ambition is to understand the shopping missions and behaviours across each of the channels we operate in, and provide propositions which meet the specific needs of our customers in these environments . Our focus is on developing mutually beneficial relationships achieved through close collaboration with our customers.


We are building compelling plans for our brands and the categories in which they operate to demonstrate to our customers how we will help drive growth for these categories.


Annual Joint Business Plans form a key framework for how we will operate with each customer, and identify the key initiatives that we will work together with our customers to deliver.


We are also optimising our pack, price and promotional architecture appropriate to the channel, for example in the growing discounter sector.


Premier Foods Foodservice has been specifically set up to meet the needs of the professional kitchen. We operate across all out of home or foodservice sectors; from pubs and bars, to schools, care homes and staff canteens.
